Special Event Experience
• All PR, media and marketing from groundbreaking through grand opening of Apex Recreation Center, Arvada
• Father’s Day 5K run to benefit community recreation – planned, publicized and managed all aspects of the event from its inception in 2006
• 50th anniversary of Apex Park and Recreation District – planned events for a year-long celebration of community recreation in Arvada
• Managed volunteer program “Hearts at Work” for a major Denver bank, with volunteer events, recognition and employee communication plan
• Developed and managed numerous special events and fund-raisers in both the public and private sectors, many involving planning from inception to completion.
